LELO SONA 2 vs SONA 2 Cruise
Two of the most-loved air-pulse toys we sell — and the one difference that decides which is right for you.
LELO’s SONA range doesn’t vibrate; it uses gentle sonic pulses to stimulate the whole clitoris, not just the tip. Both the SONA 2 and the SONA 2 Cruise do this beautifully. The question is really about one feature — and about £20.
Here’s how they stack up, and who we’d point at each.

Which should you buy?
For most people, the SONA 2 is the one — it’s the same lovely air-pulse sensation, quiet and waterproof, for a good chunk less. It’s the toy we recommend most often, full stop.
Spend the extra on the Cruise only if you know you press a toy firmly against yourself as you climax. Ordinary toys lose power when pushed hard; Cruise Control keeps a reserve for exactly that moment. If that’s you, it’s money well spent.

Common questions
✦ Is the SONA 2 Cruise worth the extra money?
Only if you tend to press a toy firmly against yourself — Cruise Control keeps power in reserve for that. Otherwise the standard SONA 2 is the better buy.
✦ Do they actually suck?
Not quite — they seal over the clitoris and pulse air and sound waves, for a sucking, fluttering feel that’s different from (and, for many, more intense than) vibration.
✦ Are they good for beginners?
Yes — air-pulse is gentle to aim and famously effective. If it’s your first, either is a lovely place to start.
